The Great Commission is "The Mission"
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.              Matthew 28:19-20

Acts 1:8 is the strategy of the Church "On Mission"
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  Acts 1:8

Missions is not something we do, it is who we are. PVBC started as a church plant to reach the military personnel of the former Bainbridge Naval Base. We have continued that vision to reach not only the members of our local community, but the nations. PVBC reaches our local community through a wide variety of ministry programs & ministry services. We have partnerships with two crisis pregnancy centers in Cecil & Harford counties - Alpha's Glory & Cecil Crisis Pregnancy Center.  We participate in local parades & the annual Cecil County Fair. We have partnered with Bethlehem Baptist Church in Baltimore MD, and also work with the North American Mission Board of the SBC. 

On an international front, we support the International Mission Board of the SBC to support over 5,500 missionaries worldwide. We have ministry partnerships in the Philipines, Ecuador & Global Aid Network. We offer short term mission trips to Africa, Philipines, Ecuador, Russia, & Ukrain.  To find out more about our Missions Ministries please contact us.
