3. How should I dress?

You can come as you are! You can dress up or dress casual. We want you to be comfortable.

4. Does your church have accomodations for my special needs child?

PVBC takes serious the care for all of our children. We have several families with special needs children. We will try our best to accommodate you with whatever need you and your family may have. For more information please contact our church office.

5.  My child is allergic to peanuts. Is your church peanut/tree nut free?

Pleasant View is also a Peanut Free & Tree Nut Free Zone. All Snacks are provided for your children. We offer cheerios, pretzels, and apple juice. Parents ARE NOT to send outside food into any classroom. The only exception would be the newborns-35 month old rooms for bottles and sippy cups. We appreciate your willingness to follow these rules to ensure that we continue to provide a safe and friendly enviorement for you and your children. If your child has an allergy, please notify one of the nursery/children's ministry volunteers when you come.

Listening devices are made available at the beginning of each of our services. You may stop by the sound booth to request one.

PVBC offers a wide variety of ministries for children from 1st grade - 12th grade.  For more information, please check out the ministries page.

8.  What about parking?

Parking at Pleasant View is an open format.  We do ask our members, if physically able, to please park on the south lot by the Agape Family Center, or the north lots on Downin Lane. We have handicap parking and parking for seniors on the first two rows in front of the main entrance.

Please arrive a few minutes early to find a parking space. When you enter the church building, one of our Greeters will welcome you and help you find a seat in the auditorium.

   1. BAPTISM: For persons who have been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and desire to obey Christ by being scripturally baptized by immersion.     Information on becoming saved
   2. LETTER FROM ANOTHER BAPTIST CHURCH: For persons who are saved, have been baptized by immersion after salvation, and are members in good standing of another Baptist church which will transfer them by letter to PVBC (we will handle transfer of the letter).

10. How can I get connected with the Church?

As our church continues to grow we must continue to grow smaller and we do so through our small groups. If your new we recommend starting with our First Steps Class. First Steps is a Church Info/New Members Class. If you are thinking about joining or want to know more about who we are this is a great First Step. This class is led by Pastor Josh Phillips, Mike & Amy Gilbert.
