The Prayer Shawl Ministry was established in April 2008 to minister to those who are going through a major life or health crisis to show God's love in a tangible way. To pray for them & bless them in Jesus name and to give them the reassurance of knowing they are being loved and being prayed for through their crisis.  Its a small way to bear one another's burdens and to "minister to the saints" as we try to meet as many needs as we can. We have a group of around 15 people who knit /crochet shawls.
