I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our Men Sunday School class. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 am in Room 123.The Lord has impressed upon my heart the importance of striving to achieve a heart for God.I personally struggle daily to become the man that God has called me to be, and I continuously fall short of his expectations.Satan tries his best to discourage me when I’m downBut, to the glory of the Lord, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14)and encourages me to stay down when I fall.
I for one am tired of setting on the sidelines waiting to get on the field to play for Team Jesus!Spiritual warfare is being waged daily against our families, friends, schools, churches, and our Nation. As men of integrity, we have been “called out” by God to stand up against the slanderer. As men of God we have a choice… Stand by and allow this to continue to be the trend…. Or Stand Up, putting on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-18) and marching onward into the battle.
I encourage you to come and join us as we learn together, How to be the man that God has called us to be… and let’s black the devil’s eye for the glory of our God!
Time truly flies when you are studying the WORD of God. Our MEN of IRON Sunday School class continues to study God’s word through the Bill Gothard series “The 49 Commands of Christ”. Currently (actually for the past three weeks) we have been studying the 24th Command “Hear God’s Voice”. The MEN of IRON is made up of a group of men that continuously strive to become the Godly men that God has called us to be throughout the Bible. Over the next several months, we will be studying commandments such as “Take My Yoke” (Matthew 11:28-30), “Honor Your Parents” (Matthew 15:4), “Beware of Leaven” (Matthew 16:6), and “Deny Yourself” (Luke 9:23). If there is a command that you feel that you don’t understand or would like to get a better understanding of the command, Please join us as we Learn and Grow Together in Jesus Christ.
